Welcome to Dutch Tours, the two-women run small group tour company in the Netherlands! Are you looking to get away from the crowds in Amsterdam? Holland has so much more to offer off the beaten track. Dutch Tours offers small group and fully private tours with a personal touch from experienced local guides. Come and explore nature looking for wildlife, ride a horse on the beach or enjoy a day on a boat looking for seals. Learn more about the days of WWII at a former camp site or dive into sculptures and Vincent van Gogh surrounded by Holland’s most beautiful nature.
Driving through reclaimed land, along farms and historic villages, we will show you the beauty of Holland at a relaxed pace. Visiting stunning natural beauty and hidden gems, hard to reach areas, memorial sites or UNESCO world heritage.
As Dutch Tours is a small tour operator, our tours are flexible and interactive and we are more than happy to explain everything about living in Holland, from local food and schools to bird migration, wolf management and politics!

We will explore the Hoge Veluwe National Park, home to Red Deer, Roe deer, Wild Boar and Mouflon, in a small group, stopping at several lookouts and wildlife viewing areas. If you like, you can discover the park on your own by bicycle as well! For those in your group who are more interested in art or architecture we offer to drop you at the entrance of the country residence/museum Jachthuis Sint Hubertus or the The Kröller-Müller Museum.
On this half day tour, we will take you on a journey along the breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site Waddensea. We will explore the Waddensea by boat at low tide, scouting for seals and migrating birds. We will visit the historic town of Medemblik on the IJsselmeer coast, the golden era village of Twisk, and we will see the famous enclosing dike between Noord-Holland and Friesland up close, on this family friendly trip.
Come and discover Holland from horseback! Our amazing trail ride takes you through the forest and dunes to the beautiful Dutch beach. We offer hacks for beginner, intermediate and experienced riders. For experienced riders we offer to include a nice gallop on the beach! The ride typically lasts 1,5 – 2,5 hours, depending on the weather and riding level of the people in your group. Please note our age (10+) and weight(<85kg/185lbs) restrictions for this activity.
On this small group tour, we will visit the remainders of the WWII Nazi concentration camp Vught, with its reconstructed watchtowers, barracks, crematorium and children’s memorial. The camp was first used in 1943 and held 31,000 Jewish and political prisoners. During this visit, the importance of this time in our recent history will be highlighted. An audio tour is included at the site. Our tour guide will stay with the group throughout the visit and will be able to answer your questions.
On this small group tour, we will visit the castle, its gardens, and the beautiful, landscaped park around it. Kasteel de Haar is characterized by its rich and extravagant history and the many special stories hidden behind the castle walls. First built in the 13th century it came in the van Zuylen family in the 15th century.
Experience a full day at the beautiful island of Texel and it’s surrounding UNESCO World Heritage site Waddensea! We will sail to Texel and explore its National Parks, historic villages and beaches. In one of the historic villages we will enjoy a delicious lunch! We will pick you up in Amsterdam in the morning and will bring you back late afternoon. A full day of island experience at one of Holland’s most beautiful islands!
You will discover the Venice of the North “Giethoorn” by boat and on foot in the morning. We will visit our most beautiful open-air museum the Zaanse Schans in the afternoon: see windmills, waterlands, cheese makers, and clog factories up close, and learn about the region’s rich history!
In the morning we wander the narrow footpaths and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Giethoorn by boat. In the afternoon we visit the picturesque village of Volendam with a stop at a cheese and clog farm! We will sail to the ancient fishing villange Marken.
Delft, with its canals, gables, and towers, is unique and beyond beautiful. A visit to the factory of the world-famous Delft Blue Pottery is included. IN the afternoon we will visit the 19 UNESCO world heritage windmills of Kinderdijk . Enter a working mill and take a cruise for a better view from the water!
We will visit the remainders of concentration camp “Kamp Vught” with its reconstructed watchtowers, barracks, crematorium, and children’s memorial. In the afternoon we will continue to Arnhem including a visit to the Airborne Museum, John Frost Bridge, and the war cemetery.
