Private Tour to Keukenhof flower exhibition and Castle De Haar
Enjoy two of Holland´s most spectacular tours in one: a visit to the world renowned spring flower exhibition Keukenhof in combination with one of Holland’s most beautiful fairytale castles!
On our Keukenhof and Castle tour, a full day private tour, we start with the world renowned spring flower exhibition at the Keukenhof: Millions of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths display their vibrant colors in this huge landscaped garden in English style.
As we start the day early we beat the crowds and can wander the park at leisure to enjoy the many flower exhibitions! Our next stop is a leisure drive through the country side, stopping for scenic photo opportunities of villages and windmills and seeing the typical huge fields of flowers. We will have time for lunch at a delicious local restaurant.
After lunch we will visit the enchanting castle “de Haar”: the biggest and most beautiful castle in the Netherlands. With its history dating back to the middle ages, Baron Etienne van Zuylen rebuilt the castle to entertain and impress in the late 1800’s: famous guests from all over the world enjoyed their summer visits. The castle and its English gardens have been beautifully preserved!
